Meet The Designers
Christina Jimenez, Kiersten Gillespie, Susan Rowe Welcome to A Decorated Life! We are very excited about what we have to offer our customers. We are three long-time friends that have been scrapbooking for many years. We came to the realization that there are a lot of people out there that do not have the time to either enjoy this craft or complete albums. Many people we meet have some scrapbooking supplies, however they are in a bag somewhere in the house and their pictures are in boxes under the bed or in the basement. Others don’t know what scrapbooking is, or how to go about doing it. Well…we want to use our time to create time for our customers! By making meaningful, professionally designed photo scrapbook albums, we can assist our clients in passing down a tangible legacy to future generations. Kiersten is the President of the company. She is an avid scrapbooker and the driver of the organization. She has been scrapbooking for over a decade now and has taken many classes on new techniques and styles. She thrives on new design ideas and purchasing all of the latest embellishments and papers! Susan, our designer, has also been scrapbooking for over a decade…she, along with her sister, actually introduced Kiersten to this craft. Her albums are just beautifully done. She has a clean, uncomplicated sense of design and is exceptional at journaling. Her sense of humor and kindness really make her fun to work with! Christina is our sales support and marketing manager, and just has a wonderful personality. She really does provide unrivaled customer service! Just wait till you speak with her! Kiersten and Susan just completed their scrapbooking degree in album-making from Creating Keepsakes University. (tm) Yes, you can actually get a degree in scrapbooking...what will they think of next? In any case, we are committed to continued education and personal growth in our craft so that we can provide the best quality products for our clients. A Note from Kiersten If you’ve ever wanted to write a book, create something truly special, or record your family history…this is an excellent way to achieve that “immortality”. I know my children will cherish the albums I make today. I put little pieces of advice in them too, so they get to hear my “voice” and values and feel the love I have for them long after I am gone! I’ve always been the emotional, sentimental member of my family. I strive to give gifts that are not merely paid for with money, but include my feelings, sentiments and love. I guess my mother really loved those hand made macaroni-laden cards and "errr" less than perfect pottery I created as a child, because these types of gifts are the ones I find most meaningful to give (and receive for that matter!) I love sharing sentimental gift giving with others. I think many people want to give a gift that will bring tears to the receiver’s eyes, but they just don’t know what to buy! Here’s at least one answer to that burning question: A SCRAPBOOK PHOTO ALBUM! Don’t miss out on giving the perfect gift to someone you love this year! And if you’re planning on a wedding ceremony in your future don’t miss out on our wedding albums...they’re absolutely beautiful, and so much more meaningful than just pictures slid in between two sheets of plastic! Through archival-safe, handcrafted photo scrapbook albums, we will bring to life our client's stories. We will use our artistic talents, knowledge, and continuing education of the latest and greatest trends in the market to provide the freshest designs and most distinctive techniques to our albums. We will use our "people" skills and an unmatched customer service attitude to pattern our albums in a fashion most suited to the unique, individual tastes and styles of our clients. Additionally, we seek to find satisfaction and enjoyment in our own lives through providing this very special service to the public. Our hope is to make our company a fun, deeply rewarding, and profitable place to work, while providing our clients with a keepsake that they themselves, and the countless generations after them, will treasure.
