Theme Ideas for Albums

So...you know who you want to give an album to, and what photos and memorabilia it will include.  Now...you can either have a custom-made album that focuses on your feelings, thoughts and the pictures, or you can consider the following “theme” albums.

         THE PROPOSAL ALBUM:  If you’re thinking of proposing…this is a

                           very unique idea for you!  You can take some pictures of your

                           "dating time" and some stories and thoughts and make a mini 6x6

                           album with them. Show your loved one how much he/she really

                           means to you.  Then...on the last page, we will put a pocket on the

                           page in which you can put the Engagement Ring! 

                           Guaranteed to bring tears!!  The additional benefit is that the

                           album serves as a keepsake of that amazing moment in a

                           person's life!

   Quilt Album: Every page will have a different quilt pattern with your    

                   photos pieced in or on  top of the design.

Cars/Trucks/Trains: Every page will have a different type/color of

car on it.  Great for little boys or car enthusiasts!  It doesn't have to be

limited to transportation, just chose what the boy or girl likes...

dinosaurs, sports, etc...

                        Time Line:  The whole album will be  "threaded" time line of a person's

                         life, or moments of their lives such as planning a wedding, a daily  

                                 account of  a special trip or even having a baby. 

                   advice that you want your children to learn!  Let your thoughts and   

                   feelings for your children last forever.

                   The “Fridge” Book: Clean up the clutter.  Take all the artwork and

                   pictures that have hung or are currently hanging on your fridge and put

                   them into a keepsake the whole family will enjoy!  Your children will

                   love that you cherish their work so much to put it in a book. 

     Teddy Bears:  A picture of a different bear on each page...or   

                    anything that a person loves (butterflies, dogs, penguins, etc...) 

   The Garden Book:  A beautiful gift for the gardeners you know,

                      or people who just love flowers. Every page will feature a different

                      flower.  You could include sentiments about friendship and nature.

                     The Recipe Book: Do you have a box filled with the family's  favorite

                     recipes?  Share the recipes along with pictures and special stories with

                     family members.  Your family members  will always be able to find that

                     favorite recipe!

                     Calendar year: Every couple pages can feature a different month of

                     the year.

                     Vacation Time: Every page can have a different "tidbit" fact about the

                     sights that you visited!

      Favorite Things:  As in the Sound of Music song, putting together an

                      album of a person's favorite things can really cheer them and make

                      them feel special.

                           Spiritual Album:  Each page can feature a different meaningful 

                      scripture or positive thought quotation along with a memory of good

                      times.  In the words of James M. Barrie "God gave us memories that

                      we might have Roses in the December of our Lives".

     Stories: If you have that very fortunate gift of story-telling or writing,

                      put a book together of the narratives you've written.  We'll decorate

                      them! Poetry books are a lovely way to pass down your gift to future

                      generations.  We have written a story for a small child and included

                      pictures of the child along with the story.  Please call to discuss this if

                      you are interested in a specialized album like this.

    A Memorabilia Album: Maybe you only have a few pictures, but a ton

                      of memorabilia (concert & event ticket stubs, special cards you've

                      been given, bulletins of important events). You can have an album

                      made of these too!

     A Military Honor Album:  You can use different memorabilia, pictures

                     from boot-camp graduation, historical moments in America's military,

                     poems and stories about how proud you are of your loved one for

                     serving our country so courageously, American song lyrics, military

                     code of ethics, etc...
